Paisleys & Posies Week - Card 1

One of my favourite stamp sets is retiring at the end of May - Paisleys & Posies.
I thought it would be fun, to dedicate this week to this stamp set (which also has matching dies) and show you just how versatile it is.

This first card, I cased from Paula Dobson, a demonstrator from New Zealand.  She likened the circle elements to that of fireworks going off....myself, I see them as a burst of spring flowers.  What do they look like to you?

I used Pacific Point for the card base, cut at 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2".  So its a flip up card.

Soft Sky for the next layer, cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" (same width, just a quarter of an inch shorter) Then stamped on Whisper White 4 1/4" x . 5" (same width, just a quarter of an inch shorter again).  The circle elements were all stamped in Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Marina Mist, Dapper Denim and the sentiment from Better Together stamp set was stamped in Pacific Point.  I added some little gold faceted gems to add bling and Dapper Denim Bakers Twine to finish it off.

My Stampin' Up Store  Check out all the inks and cardstock here.  Plus the clearance section and retiring list.

Have a great week,
